Catherine Calderon is a "Frosh" at De La Salle University - Manila and is taking up BS Accountancy and AB Communication Arts. A pure Filipina but considers herself quite unlucky for she is not morena. She is very simple yet wise in her own ways. Expresses her love for God's works by taking photographs of them. Truthfully, she is nowhere near perfect but still carries on with life's endeavors with her faith in God and with a smile on her face. :)

010712: A Gift From Kerstin

Since it’s already the third term, our block (as well as the other blocks, regardless of which college they belong to) has been de-blocked. As in, we were given the most-awaited freedom to make our own schedules. CWTS is the only class that most of my blockmates and I have in common now. 

During our first meeting for CWTS, I received a gift from one of my closest blockmates, Kerstin. Even though she insisted that I should open it at that time, I refused. I quickly kept the gift in my bag and didn’t open it ‘til I reached home. Curiosity didn’t take over me. Whew!

These 2 photos + sweet post-its (+ a cute hotpink colored top) were her gifts to me ☺

It was only a couple of hours ago when I thought of reading her message on these post-its. Honestly, I’ve never felt so loved! Especially by a friend whom I just knew a couple of months ago! ♡ Also, because of her message, I was able to realize so many things about the past and present me! THANK YOU SO MUCH, BB KERSTIN!!

Here are some realizations of mine:

  • It’s only the first month of 2012 and I’ve been receiving so much blessings from God, which I think I need to list down asap since they are too many. 
  • The positive me is more of what I am now.
  • I’ve been taking risks and I’m not afraid of their falls. 
  • Finally, I understood the good in goodbye and the true in true love.
  • I think I’m closer to my own happiness now, yey! *giggles*
