121611: UST Paskuhan 2011

T’was my first time to experience the annual celebration of University of Santo Tomas’s Paskuhan. At first, it was only me and my childhood friend/sister, Christine De Leon, who planned to go to the said event. We were even unsure of it since I had another agenda for that day and, she can only go to the Paskuhan if I’ll be with her. Her parents are strict, especially her father. Fortunately, the party that I was supposed to attend to was partially cancelled; therefore, I decided to go with her, instead.

We dropped by DLSU first to meet-up with her blockmates and to waste time. When we were getting ready to go to UST, I received a text from Jannica De La Cruz, asking where I was. I told her that I was in DLSU and is about to go to UST with my sister and her blockmates. Surprisingly, she was also in DLSU. We did a lot of crazy antics before we were able to get a cab, arrive, and get inside UST.

Although I was supposed to accompany Christine, we both decided to part and be with our own friends. Throughout the whole night, I was with Jannica, Sarina Legaspi, and Kim Paolo Anatalio. They’re just three of my closest high school friends.

Found out a lot of facts about the university. The Lovers’ Lane was what I found to be the most interesting of all the areas we’ve been. It had those bright Christmas lights on and that romantic ambience along the way.

In the university’s field was where we spent our remaining hours before we headed home. Local bands were there to perform their hit singles. Rico Blanco and Urbandub totally completed my night! The venue was also perfect for the fireworks display.

And I even got to see Celina Garcia, also one of my closest high school friends, amidst the wild Thomasian crowd! (Forgive my wasted look)

Here’s a simple equation to sum it all up:

Great company + Awesome concert + Enchanting Fireworks = Night well spent, fo’realzzz! ♥ Thomasians, thank you!!
